He has admitted fatherhood was a long time coming after he and his wife suffered a five year battle with infertility. But for new father Jimmy Fallon parenthood was clearly worth the wait, judging by this adorable family scene.
The popular chat show host was pictured placing a tender kiss on the cheek of baby Winnie Rose who was born via a surrogate in July. Jimmy, 38, and his wife Nancy were enjoying a stroll on Saturday when they paused for a moment for Jimmy to kiss the little one. The couple who married in 2007 could not stop smiling or gazing at Winnie during their trip out.
‘We tried for a long time, for five years. I know people have tried much longer, but if there’s anyone out there who is trying and they’re just losing hope . . . just hang in there.
‘Try every avenue; try anything you can do, ’cause you’ll get there.
You’ll end up with a family, and it’s so worth it. It is the most ‘worth it’ thing. I’m just so happy right now. I’m freaking out.’
