Having seen record-breaking attendance, the Annual Meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE) was finished in Istanbul on July 4, 2012.
Ethical and legal aspects of third person reproduction, including surrogacy and donation, have become one of the most discussed topics at the Meeting. Great interest was aroused by the “Socially infertile “Single Intended Parents” Motivation for Gestational Surrogacy” report made by Konstantin Svitnev, Director General of Rojurconsulting. K. Svitnev became one of two representatives of our country who received the right to speak from the rostrum of the ESHRE this year.
